Questionnaire information

The checkup asks for general descriptions about income and expenses, savings, debt, insurance protection, and future planning. It does not request Social Security numbers, bank passwords, or full account numbers.

How questionnaire answers are handled

Answers are used in the visitor’s browser to calculate the educational score. The site does not transmit them to a server or third party, save them in browser storage, place them in the page address, or retain them after the page is refreshed or closed.

Contact form information

If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are sent to the site operator. The form is processed by FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, so it can be delivered by email. Do not include Social Security numbers, bank passwords, full account numbers, or other sensitive financial information.

Newsletter subscriptions

If you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter, the information you enter in the signup form is sent to Beehiiv, the newsletter service provider, so your subscription can be managed and requested emails can be delivered. Newsletter signup is separate from the financial checkup. Your questionnaire answers and score are not sent to Beehiiv. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter.

Providers and sharing

The questionnaire does not use an external survey provider, analytics service, or advertising tracker to collect or process questionnaire answers. Contact form submissions are processed by FormSubmit solely to deliver the message. Voluntary newsletter subscriptions are processed by Beehiiv to manage the email list and deliver newsletter messages.

Retention and choices

Questionnaire answers are not transmitted or saved and are cleared when the page is refreshed or closed. Contact messages may be retained in the site operator’s email account and by the form delivery provider according to its practices. Newsletter subscription information is retained as needed to manage the subscription and applicable legal requirements. You may unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You may instead copy the published email address and send a message through your preferred email service.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit sensitive credentials or complete account numbers.
